Merlin P. Santjer, CLU

President, Friedman Financial Services, Inc.

Merle began his insurance career in 1978. He was one of the original shareholders in Friedman Financial Services, starting the company in 1994. He has a sales and marketing degree, and has earned his Chartered Life Underwriter and Registered Health Underwriter designations. Active in the community, he has served as president of the Dubuque Association of Insurance Professionals and Dubuque Hempstead Booster Club. Merle is a life and qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table and a Knight of the Million Dollar Round Table Foundation. Merle's primary focus is working with individuals, families and business owners insuring the risk of death, disability and retirement.
